AESA

The president oversees the entire operation of AESA. They are in charge of making sure that everything is running smoothly. They will be involved in all of the projects which AESA is running mainly to make sure that they are going on as planned. The president is the figurehead or the face of AESA. They will most likely be the main contact for external entities with AESA. The president is also responsible for AESA/RMIT Clubs and Societies communication. The president is responsible for calling and chairing most of the meetings. They will be a signatory on the bank account.

Eligibility Criteria : The president will be Bundoora based and typically in year three or above.

The Vice President will be doing a lot of the day to day operations of AESA under the supervision and guidance of the President. The Vice President will be required to take over from the President if he/she is unavailable. The Vice President will also be a signatory on the bank account.

Eligibility Criteria: The Vice President will be City based and will oversee the city activities. 

This person is in charge of all the administration aspects of AESA. They will write up agendas and minutes of all the meetings and attend to any other administrative matters that may arise. The secretary should have updated records of all the activities that AESA is running. The Secretary will have updated records of the progress of the various projects in operation. It is also the responsibility of the secretary to maintain an up to date registry of all members, which is to be updated regularly.

Eligibility Criteria: The Secretary can be from any year and is not limited by campus. 

The treasurer’s main role is to look after all funds going in and out of the AESA bank account. They need to accurately keep track of all transactions for tax purposes. There will be two Treasurers, one city based and one Bundoora based.

Eligibility Criteria: One City based student for City Treasurer and one Bundoora based student for Bundoora Treasurer.
